Stone Crow Stables is thrilled to host professional trainer and riding instructor, Andrea Lucianna Lindsay. Andrea was born and raised on Half-Trak Farm. She grew up in a life of Sporthorse breeding and dressage earning her USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold medals, as well as earning her Gold freestyle bars on self trained horses by the age of 22. She is also an "r" licensed Dressage judge with DSE (Dressage Seat Equitation) certification currently working toward her "R" dressage judging license and also her DSHB (Dressage Sporthorse Breeders) license. She plans to move toward her "S" license and eventually FEI licensing.

Being born and raised on a Sporthorse breeding and training facility, Half-Trak Farm, Andrea has raised and trained from foals through Grand Prix horses. She also spent nearly 20 years rehabilitating and retraining to adopt rescue horses.

Andrea has many years of experience with all levels of riders and breeds of horses, and many of her students have gone on to earn their USDF medals themselves with her coaching. She has earned several Regional Championships, year end awards, Horse of the Year awards as well as other riding accomplishments.

On a more personal note, Andrea has 3 small children and lives on a small farm with her own horses and her husband in Sedro-Woolley. She is no longer taking horses in full-time training due to the demands of her family, judging, and teaching. She does offer lessons to all levels of riders and horses. Andrea's teaching style is based on helping the rider to find the best balance and communication to move forward with their own personal goals, helping the rider to understand why we use the aids we use and giving them the tools to be successful, not just in lessons but also on their own.
